For this project, I researched the history of evolutionary science. Although many think of Darwin as the scientist who "discovered" evolution, the reality is that our understanding of evolution has been continually developing since Darwin, thanks to the work of thousands of scientists over more than a hundred years. The historical lineage of the field of "evolutionary studies" is complex and robust in its own right. I condensed my research into a one-minute video highlighting some of the most significant developments. I designed assets in Adobe Illustrator, animated them in AfterEffects, and produced my own narration.
